Hi! My name is Kinley Thompson, and I am a rising Senior at the University of Tennessee majoring in Kinesiology with a Pre-Health minor. With this, I am planning on to attending PA school for my post-grad plans. The University of Tennessee has been the best experience these past 3 years, and I would love to show everyone why I think it could be the perfect fit for you! I am very involved in the activities available on campus such as Greek life and club sports. Through my involvement at UT, I have met some of my best friends and memories that will last a lifetime!

Describe your college experience

My college experience has been great! I have had many professors who are willing to help me in my class if I was struggling, and they truly want me to succeed. Also being involved in the University has made my experience so much better through the friends and memories I have made.

Tip for future students

Don’t be afraid to try something new! I was nervous at first coming into a big college, but once I got plugged in and involved, it made campus feel a lot smaller.

Favorite class

Applied Anatomy was my favorite class because the professor was always there to help me succeed, and the activities were very hands on.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love to go out and walk on some of the trails around campus, go downtown and grab some sushi, and then head home and watch my favorite movie with my roommates and boyfriend.
