  Angel was an outstanding tour guide! He did a ton of work in advance to make sure he could answer relevant questions & take us to see the schools, programs, and clubs we are interested in. He even took us to watch a master’s thesis presentation by a marine biology student. (This was optional but we definitely took him up on the opportunity to see students & professors in action. My son loved that & now we know so much more about the hydrodynamics of schooling fish. Wild! With Angel we gut an authentic view of the school, how the colleges & GE options work, how to navigate academic life & social life (clubs, roommates, etc). We got an excellent overview and Angel went above & beyond to make this a great experience. We highly recommend him!

  Angel went out of his way to provide a highly personalized tour of the Scripps campus and answer marine biology specific questions. He even followed up after the tour with great insights from some of his out of state friends to our really random questions.

  Angel managed to give us a good overview of a very large campus. As a transfer student he has a unique perspective on the culture of the university. Angel was really accommodating and shared his experience doing lab research as a Marine Biology major. He was very friendly and knew a lot of people on campus, so we were able to get a good sense of the community at UCSD.

• Angel was especially friendly, taking time to research information related to my major prior to meeting us. The tour itself was great, answering the majority of my questions; he even gave us additional spots to check out after the end of our time. He’s a great choice for anyone interested in learning and becoming comfortable with UCSD!
