Describe your college experience

My college experience has been nothing short of wonderful, though I won't lie, the beginning was a bit rough. Finding your footing at a new school takes time, but once I found my place at USC and surrounded myself with supportive, like-minded people, everything changed. I've had the opportunity to meet so many incredible people from all around the world and made friendships I know will last a lifetime. Joining clubs has given me invaluable experiences, networking skills, and connections I truly cherish. From on-campus events to exploring everything LA has to offer off-campus, I've loved every single minute of it, and I'm only getting started!

Tip for future students

Don't be shy, put yourself out there from day one! Join clubs, meet new people, and take advantage of everything USC has to offer. Venture into LA and explore all the incredible places right at your doorstep because living in this city is truly a privilege. USC is very much a work-hard, play-hard environment, but trust me, it is absolutely worth it. Stay focused on your academics while still making time to have fun and create memories. Most importantly, take every opportunity as a chance to grow and learn, and never let self-doubt get in the way of your motivation. You belong here, so make the most of every single moment!

Favorite class

My favorite class so far has been JOUR 200W: The Power and Responsibility of the Public and Press. It completely changed the way I think about media and the impact storytelling has on society. As a PR and Advertising student, understanding the relationship between the press and the public has been incredibly eye-opening and has deepened my passion for communications in a way I didn't expect. Highly recommend it to anyone even remotely interested in media!

Career goals

After college, I hope to join a major marketing, advertising, or PR agency where I can work with lifestyle, beauty, or health brands and individuals. I'm passionate about building meaningful connections between brands and their audiences through strategic storytelling and creative campaigns. I also hope to take my career global, traveling the world and working across different markets and cultures is absolutely part of the dream!

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal free night starts with a little dorm get-together, good music, good food, great conversations, and of course, plenty of pictures. Then we head into LA for a late coffee or matcha run, maybe pop into an art gallery, or meet up with others for dinner at a great restaurant.
