Describe your college experience

My transition to USC was incredibly exciting, moving from Sacramento to the heart of Los Angeles. Moving into a vibrant student housing community made it easy to meet people, and diving into dynamic, fast-paced foundational courses really made me feel like a true Trojan right away.

Tip for future students

Don't be afraid to branch out and explore the city early on! Use public transit or local rides to see different neighborhoods, and build a routine that balances your study time with enjoying everything LA has to offer.

Favorite class

General Biology (or Intro to Psychology) because the professors make complex material highly engaging, and the hands-on laboratory sections give you a great chance to collaborate closely with your classmates.

Career goals

I plan to pursue a clinical career in healthcare as a Perfusionst, focusing on clinical support, patient care, and continuing into advanced healthcare certifications.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Grabbing food with friends, trying out local fast-casual spots around LA, or relaxing with a movie after a productive week of classes.

High school or secondary school

Westlake Charter High School, Sacramento, CA

Meeting point
