Hi! I’m a first-year Urban Studies major at the University of Pennsylvania, passionate about housing justice and community development. Growing up in NYC sparked my love for cities and my interest in how urban planning shapes people’s lives. I enjoy writing, photography, and spending time exploring new places with my friends!

Describe your college experience
College has been exciting so far! I love meeting new people, exploring Philly, and getting involved in causes I care about. Balancing classes, clubs, and friends has kept me busy, but I feel like I’m finding my rhythm.
Tip for future students
Don’t overcommit right away—take time to figure out what really matters to you. Also, explore your school’s city or town early on. It’s the best way to feel connected to where you are.
Favorite class
“Homelessness and Urban Inequality” has been my favorite. It’s challenged me to think critically about housing policies and how they impact people’s lives, and it’s connected directly to what I want to focus on in the future.
Career goals
I’d love to work in public policy or law, focusing on making cities more equitable and sustainable.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Taking a walk to explore new parts of Philly, grabbing dinner with friends, or winding down by reading a good book.
