Describe your college experience

It was a very easy transition for me as I had lived for a couple years on my own before attending college. The hardest thing to do is to stay consistent with a schedule that you make: when to do work, to eat, to sleep, go to the gym, or get groceries, etc. It also takes a bit of time to learn each professor's way of doing things.

Tip for future students

My best piece of advice is one that has probably been shared a ton, but take advantage of ever opportunity. College provides so many social, intellectual, physical, and emotional resources to utilize. Talk to strangers, try working out consistently, go to a info meeting to learn something new, meet people in a club with an activity you've never tried, and just live life to the fullest.

Favorite class

So far, I have loved Biology. I took a college level biology class in high school and I really enjoyed the sections covering human anatomy and cellular structure.

Career goals

I have no particular career in mind at this point in time (which could have the added benefit of making me more relatable:). Whatever happens, I hope to specialize in a field I am passionate about, retire early, and travel the world utilizing those skills to bless God's children.

Ideal way to spend a free night

The best nights are the ones that plan themselves spontaneously, like going to play pickleball with my roommates, making cookies with my cousin, going stargazing, watching a show with my buddies, eating dinner with my family, or just deciding I need a bit more energy and going swing dancing.

Favorite spot on campus

I love going to the MoA (Museum of Art). I'm not very good at understanding what an artist is trying to express, but I love to pop in there every once in a while on the way home from class to have a mental reset before I start to get my work done for the day. It has a very relaxing atmosphere.
