One of my jobs is delivering exams, so I am familiar with the buildings of pretty much every department on campus. UMass is so big that the buildings they show you on the general tour are usually irrelevant, and I can show you the ones you'd actually be taking classes in based on your major. At first I was stressed out transitioning to college, but over time I made good friends and found classes and work that I enjoy :)

Tip for future students

Because UMass is a big school, learning how to navigate bureaucratic systems and advocate for yourself is very important

My favorite class has been History of Disability in the US because I got to do my own research project and the professor was very supportive
