Describe your college experience

I lived in a small town my whole life, my graduating class was 28 people in high school so it was a very big change to me to come to a massive school in a city with more people than in my entire state. But It has been a good experience and it has forced me to push myself to get to where I want to be and I think that has been critical for my personal growth. I have been pushed out of my comfort zone and that has been a good thing.

Tip for future students

Nothing is given to you, everything you want you have to earn for yourself. Everyone talks about the great resources this school has. But if you do not use them no one is going to help you. push yourself to do the most you can. It is a tough adjustment but every year you will get better at it and by the end you will have used all the reasources and will be at the point you want to be. Also join a club freshmen year. You will find it much harder to join every year after. It will help you a lot to get an intership.

Favorite class

My favriote class has been compressible aerodynamics. It was all about moving past the speed of sound. It is really applicable to a lot of commercial and military jets or even reentry vehicles and this is really interesting to me. It also s taught by the same professor that I am doing my research with

Career goals

I really hope to do something in aerodynamics. This could be with planes, cars or even rockets. I love planes and cars so either of those would be extremely cool. I would also love to design rocket or plane engines. I have big dreams.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Go out have some fun with my friends, come back make some good food then play some video games and then go to bed at a reasonable hour.

High school or secondary school

I went to Lone Peak High School in big sky Montana. I went to the same building for elementary middle and high school.
