Describe your college experience

My transition to college has been exciting and challenging in the best way. Being a student-athlete on the soccer team at NC State has helped me build strong time management skills while forming great friendships. I’ve really enjoyed getting involved on campus and learning more about what I want to pursue career-wise.

Tip for future students

Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone early on: try new clubs, talk to people in your dorm, and ask questions in class. Also, learning how to manage your time makes everything less stressful, especially if you're balancing sports or a busy schedule.

Favorite class

One of my favorite classes so far has been Business Analytics. It gave me a practical understanding of how data drives decision-making, which ties in perfectly with my finance concentration and interests outside the classroom.

Career goals

After college, I hope to work in the finance industry, possibly as a financial analyst or in investment banking. Long-term, I’m also interested in entrepreneurship and possibly starting my own business one day.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal free night would be hanging out with friends, maybe grabbing food near campus or watching a game. I also enjoy winding down by playing the game or watching Netflix when I need a break.
