New York University
Student at the Tisch School of Drama
Hello! I’m currently a student at NYU Tisch Drama. But when I’m not busy writing, directing, or acting, I love to experiment with fashion, marvel in museums, and dance to house music on full blast.

Describe your college experience
Transitioning from the slow-paced life of Sacramento to the hustle and bustle of New York City has definitely been challenging. It felt like one of those movies where the small-town girl is thrown around like a football once she moves to "The Big City." Being at NYU and pursuing my passion has taught me how to be resilient, self sufficient, and bold.
Tip for future students
A common complaint you'll hear is "There's no community at NYU due to the lack of campus." I would have to disagree. NYU is one of the schools where you get what you put into it. There's lots of community to be found, but you have to put in the effort. Go support a local band. Be engaged in your community, volunteer for something. See a fashion show. Go see student-led shows. Talk to strangers (sounds cringe and cliche, but I've met a LOT of interesting people this way and made so many personal and career connections!). Help out a drunk girl coming home from a party. People in NYC are always doing something. When you cast a wide net of connection, you'll get to know what other people are doing, and you'll find your space.
Favorite class
Arts: Developing the Mover and Maker by Evan Fisk. It's a required class for PHTS students. It helps my body wake up and express itself in an unfiltered way. Each class I feel myself getting stronger Academic: Love Actually by Arifa Zaidi. SUCH A FUN PSYCHOLOGY CLASS! I learned so much, and I ACTIVELY looked forward to going to this class everyday. Not just "oh this class if fun." But on weekends I *wished* for tuesday to come so I could be in the environment! Such passionate and educated people.
Career goals
I hope to be a well-known and respected stage-director, film actress, and voice actress in the industry. Since I am a multi-hyphenate artist, the dream would be to do a little bit of everything and explore a LOT of everything. Oh, to be a makeup artist, costume/set/lighting/sound designer, screenwriter/playwriter, stage manager, producer. I want it all.
Ideal way to spend a free night
See the latest show on Broadway and hit Chinatown for a delicious post-show meal.
