I’m a motivated student at Northeastern University studying Politics, Philosophy, Economics, and Business Administration, and a member of the John Martinson Honors Program. I’m passionate about learning through hands-on experience, collaborating with others, and taking on challenges that help me grow both academically and professionally. I am starting my second year working as a husky ambassador​/​student tour guide as well as a makerspace assistant. Before becoming a husky ambassador at Northeastern I was a head tour guide and student ambassador at Cate School.

Describe your college experience

Academically, I felt well-prepared for college thanks to my time at boarding school, which had already taught me how to manage a rigorous course load independently. I loved my classes in politics, philosophy, and economics, though adjusting to the business curriculum took some getting used to. My professors have been incredible mentors, opening me up to countless opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. The bigger adjustment was social. I spent my first year on the Oakland campus, and it took a few months of trial and error before I found the people I really connected with.

Tip for future students

Say yes to everything your first few weeks. Welcome week and the first month on campus is an amazing time to meet new people and try new things because there is no pressure to find your best friends or favorite extracurriculars immediately.

Favorite class

Social and Political Philosophy with Dr. Alec Stubbs has been my favorite class because it combines contemporary political thought with nuanced ideas and philisophical principles. We explored complicated and controversial topics through literature and in-class debates.

Career goals

I’m interested in pursuing a career in public policy, government, and potentially law, where I can contribute meaningfully to a team while continuing to develop new skills. I value curiosity, reliability, meaningful connections, and a strong work ethic, and I’m always looking for opportunities to apply what I learn in real-world settings.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal way to spend a free night (besides seeing Noah Kahan at Fenway) is exploring a new neighborhood in boston with friends and grabbing dinner and a sweet treat. After, we would head back to the door and play board games and watch a movie.

My favorite place in campus is ISEC because it has great quiet areas of study tucked away and a cafe on the first floor with amazing breakfast bagel sandwiches!
