Sophomore at UW, majoring in Art and Nutrition :)
My favorite animal of all time is the Japanese macaque and my favorite show of all time is When Life Gives You Tangerines. The reason why I chose UW is that it is a great public school that has a lot of programs to choose from, and it is also a lot cheaper than the Ivies.

Describe your college experience
It was a smooth transition for me. I have good adaptability skills, so making friends was not too difficult. Almost everyone at UW is really nice, there are also a lot of RSOs activities around campus to make friends. The parties are also fun if you find the right one. UW is pretty serious about academic so it might be a bit challenging if you are not used to the quarter system.
Tip for future students
I would totally recommend living in the dorms during your first year, with the condition that you have known your future roommates for at least 2 weeks. Focus on your academics and be mentally prepared to be bombarded with homework almost every day.
Favorite class
My favorite class is Art 190 by professor Zhi Lin. It is by far the most organized art class, the curriculum is clear and prof. Zhi was really down to earth and gave good criticism.
