Describe your college experience

My experience in college as a transfer student has been different than most, but has been an eventful and great one. I started college at Fordham University in NY, before transferring to FSU in 2024. I have spent most of my time hanging out with friends, studying, and recruiting for finance internship roles. During the summers, I have been interning in different states including NY, MA, and FL. Being here at FSU, hours away from home in a beautiful campus with so much to do while getting a great education is what makes the FSU experience special.

Tip for future students

High school and University are very different, I noticed having to spend more time not just on studying, but also learning how to be a responsible adult. When I first came into college, I did not expect to spend as much time as I did on searching for what I wanted to do and then recruiting for the right job. So don't be afraid to take the time to consider the things you want to do, and definitely don't ever hesitate to reach out for help!

Favorite class

My favorite class here at FSU has been Venture Capital and Private Equity. The class gave me a glance into how decisions in the PE&VC space are made, and how companies as well as investors succeed. The professor for this class, Casey Dougal, is very funny and engaging as well, and especially cares for students' success.

Career goals

I am interning with Raymond James' Investment Banking Division in New York this coming summer, and I look to go back full time. I want to work for consumer companies in the future or potentially start my own business!

Ideal way to spend a free night

The best way to spend a night for me is to get with a group of friends, and we would cook together. I typically spend a lot of time studying, so a nigh cooking with friends brings us closer and takes my mind off the analytics, and brings me closer to the present.

High school or secondary school

Montverde Academy, Montverde Florida.

Previous college

Fordham University I attended Fordham in NY my freshman and sophomore year. I had a great experience there and made a ton of friends as well as fell in love with the city. I also had the chance to intern in Boston during my sophomore summer while I was at Fordham.
