Describe your college experience

Acclimating to a new state and culture was hard for me, but I found the most amazing people here that have made my college experience better than I could ever ask for. This school has been the best of both worlds, it's a top ranked university but also has a great social scene and something for everyone. While I'm in greek life, it hasn't defined my time here and I feel proud to attend UCSB. (I also get to live across the street from the beach!)

Tip for future students

The course work reflects our ranking! STEM majors are definitely challenging and involve a lot of prerequisites. Many majors are impacted and it can be tough to get what you want to take as an underclassman. I recommend coming in with AP or IB credits, it's easier to get the classes you need when you already have units!

Favorite class

History of the Present! It explained how history created the country we live in today. It was super cool to connect dots and be able to relate present issues to past events.

Career goals

I've always wanted to go to law school, but I am still weighing my options!

Ideal way to spend a free night

Hanging out with my friends! Whether thats going to Yogurtland and watching a movie or finding an event on Del Playa I love their company.
