Describe your college experience
My first year, I was very nervous and scared. It was my first time away from home, but I made really good friends with my roommates and suite mates, which made things a lot more enjoyable. We started exploring the campus and the surrounding city together and created lots of exciting and fun memories. Overall, my experience has been really fun.
Tip for future students
Starting out at UCSD was overwhelming. The intense academic culture made it feel like socializing had taken a back seat for most people. But over time, you begin to cross paths with individuals who carry the same energy as the friends you left behind, and suddenly that sense of comfort and belonging starts to return. No matter what, there is someone out there searching for exactly the kind of connection that only you can offer.
Favorite class
Here's a rephrased version: My standout course was DSGN 1, which introduced me to the core principles of product design, the heart of my chosen specialization. Professor Michael Meyer had a gift for making students feel genuinely supported, and his engaging teaching style transformed the classroom into something far more relaxed and enjoyable than a typical lecture. It felt less like sitting through a class and more like an effortless, pressure-free exploration of ideas.
Career goals
I hope to work in the design field, whether it'd be fashion design, product design, or even architectural design.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal night involves being able to go grab some food or even a sweet treat with my friends off campus, either at La Jolla village or some place in Convoy. I also really like to DJ on the side for my friends, so whenever I get the opportunity, to Ill mix.
