Hello! My name is Zander, I am from Edwards Air Force base California! I am currently a sophomore here at BYU. It has been an amazing experience so far which has helped me to grow significantly. I am the oldest of 5, 3 sisters and then a youngest brother. I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Colorado Springs! I am currently doing the ROTC program which has been a lot of fun, and has helped me to grow in many different ways!

Describe your college experience

My freshman year started 4 years ago and was amazing, I learned a lot and luckily have improved a lot since. I have since taken on a lot more responsibility and a bigger load, causing me to put forth much more time and effort towards my schoolwork. I have really enjoyed all of it, the work and all the activities such as football games.

Tip for future students

Take college seriously but make sure to have fun. Use time effectively so that you can both have fun and succeed academically.

Favorite class

My favorite class was my Book of Mormon class, it helped me to better appreciate the scriptures and focus on the Lord each week.

Career goals

I will commission as an officer in the Air Force, hopefully as an OSI agent.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Doing any sort of activity with friends. I especially enjoy sports of all kinds.

My favorite spot on campus is LaVell Edwards Stadium, I have had so many amazing memories there.
