Describe your college experience
My first year at Pitt helped me figure out what I wanted to study and what I wanted from my college experience. I started in the Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences and realized that business was a better fit for my interests, so I internally transferred to Pitt Business. Since then, I've enjoyed meeting new people, exploring Pittsburgh, working out at the gym, and taking classes that align with my career goals. I know firsthand that it's okay to change directions if you find something you're enjoy more.
Tip for future students
Don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Everyone is adjusting during their first few weeks, even if it doesn't seem like it. Also, explore Oakland beyond your classes. There are plenty of great restaurants, study spots, and places to relax. And don't buy textbooks until you're sure you actually need them!
Favorite class
My favorite class has been Calculus 1. It challenged me in a good way and helped me build stronger problem-solving skills. It was rewarding to see my progress throughout the semester.
Career goals
I hope to build a career in marketing, especially in digital marketing or brand strategy. I'm also interested in content creation and social media, and I'd love to combine creativity with business in my future career.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Usually I'll grab food with friends, get a workout in at the gym, explore Pittsburgh, or relax by watching YouTube or playing a game. Sometimes I'll also work on creating content or planning future projects.

Favorite spot on campus
The Cathedral Lawn is one of my favorite places because it's a great spot to relax between classes and there's always something happening nearby. It's also one of the best places to experience the energy of Pitt's campus.
