Passionate chem major who can show you a thing or two around campus.

Hello! I’m Jordan and I’m a Chemistry major who’s thinking about going into Pre-med. I like to go out and explore campus and just have fun with friends. I’m still relatively new to campus, however, I do know my way pretty well.

Describe your college experience

It was a good difference from high school especially. The community building events helped me to make new friends and be exposed to a lot more different people.

Tip for future students

Really plan for the weather. Bring clothes that are suitable for the season and that are reliable. When it’s hot, stay hydrated and bring along a water bottle.

Favorite class

CHEM146. It’s the gen chem class for my major and for some reason I’m happy to go to it every morning. Maybe it’s just my love for chemistry, but the class is prettt chill and good energy.

Career goals

I hope to attend medical school and eventually go into pathology.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Going out with friends. Maybe walking around. Getting food. Things of that nature.

High school or secondary school

Western School of Technology and Environmental Science

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot is my dorm hall. I live in Pyon Chen and it feels homey to me.

Meeting point

Frederick Douglass Square on the University of Maryland campus
