Describe your college experience

I am a third generation Cougar, getting accepted into BYU is tied for the best day of my life. I have absolutely loved and adored my time here. I have recruited dozens of individuals to come to BYU because of how much I enjoy it. I often give my own tours of campus and bring future students to events to get them as excited about being a Cougar as I am.

Tip for future students

My biggest tip for future students is to be present. It is so easy to be worried about what comes after school. You will never be a college student again, go on that date, go to that game, attend the ward activity. We will be working and studying for the rest of our lives, do it all while you can.

Favorite class

Executive lecture series. I absolutely loved learning from professionals about business in leadership. The guest speakers and lecture hosts helped me to be excited about BYU, future business opportunities, and life in general.

Career goals

I want to be a professional salesman. Likely in tech/software. After which I wish to start my own business, I want to build something that helps people have a job that is meaningful, that can allow myself and others to support their families.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I am a gatherer, I love bringing people together and helping them to have a good time. On a free night I will find some fun adventure like a camp out, night hike, or bonfire, and invite every possible person who can come. I don’t believe in cliques, everyone is welcome.

High school or secondary school

Green Valley High School

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite place on campus is the bookstore. I know it is a basic answer, but I have grown up being taken to the bookstore with my parents before a football game. My dad does not like to spend money but he would always let us get something to support BYU. Walking inside and watching kids get so excited about BYU with a new shirt or a football brings me so much joy. Before going into exams I will go spend a few minutes walking through the bookstore to bring me peace before attempting my test.
