Outgoing business major who can give extra tips on admissions process.
Hi, my name is Yuchen (feel free to call me Mary). I am currently a junior at Penn studying Finance and AI for Business. Although I am a business major, I was a big STEM kid back in high school and got accepted to MIT. I also immigrated to the US from China back in 2014, so I have a wide range of experiences that could potentially help you! I know all the tips and tricks to get you familiar with Penn and some personal tips with college admissions. Hope to see you on our amazing campus!

Describe your college experience
The people I met here know how to work hard and play hard, everyone is so supportive they make me excited for school. Everyone here is ambitious academically/career wise, AND we have all sorts of interests and hobbies so you will definitely find your people here.
Tip for future students
Please spend time in fun clubs and fun classes! There are so many options you can explore here while you are still a student!
Favorite class
I loved negotiations for teaching me lessons I still use to this day. Believe it or not, I also loved my intro to economics and finance class because of the amazing professors as well as the new concepts I learned from them.
Career goals
I will be interning at Citi this summer, and I will be staying in Sales and Trading after college.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Although I would love to go out for food with my friends, I also enjoy a cozy blanket, some tea, and a great movie/show.
High school or secondary school
Central High School
Favorite spot on campus
I LOVE sitting on the lawn with my friends near the Rodin College House.
