Optimistic business student who is passionate about service and learning
Hi, I’m Kaitlyn! I’m an aspiring Experience Design & Management student, and I hope to go into Customer Experience (helping businesses improve the services they offer to customers). I have a lot of interests, which resulted in me switching my major about 5 times haha, but this means I have a lot of experience with different paths you can go at BYU! Some of my favorite things about BYU are the creamery (of course), BYU football, the focus on combining spiritual and secular learning, and the devotionals every Tuesday! Throughout my time at BYU, I’ve taken a range of different courses in different major paths, and I’ve always admired how thoughtful the courses are. BYU has really helped me focus in on where I want to go with my life, which has changed a lot since starting college! I’ve had the greatest experience at BYU, and I’d love to share that experience with you!

Describe your college experience
It was hard at first; I struggled with the class load and I wasn’t sure where I wanted to go with my major or career path. However, there are so many resources at BYU that helped me figure out my path and come to enjoy the classes I struggled with because I knew it was making me a better student and person.
Tip for future students
Go into it with the right mindset - college isn’t supposed to be a chore, it’s supposed to help you grow.

My favorite class so far has been Eternal Families. The professor was very enthusiastic and engaging, the assignments were meaningful, and the content was both fun to learn about and very applicable!
