I transferred to CU from the University of Arizona, I used to play volleyball and now I am a coach for my high school team, I love all things theater and broadway related and I'm a huge fan of movies. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hanging out with friends, and taking in all of the beauty that Boulder has to offer.

Describe your college experience

My first university provided a lot of challenges for me, which is part of the reason that I chose to transfer. Since I have been at CU, I have made a lot of friends and found things to get involved in that have brought me so much joy. I have loved my job, the people I have met, the classes I have taken, and the extracurricular activities that I have been involved in.

Tip for future students

Be open minded to trying things, but also be comfortable saying no. If something is out of your comfort zone but doesn't make you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, you should try it! But, if you are in a situation where you genuinely do not feel safe or comfortable, you are allowed to say no and you should.

Favorite class

I took Journalism 3000 with Vicky Sama last semester and it was super cool. I loved the hands-on experience of writing and reporting that we got in that class and she was an incredible mentor to have.

Career goals

I hope to write for a newspaper or magazine after college and continue to get my footing in the world of journalism.

Ideal way to spend a free night

A free night for me would be spent curled up with my dog and some friends, eating sweets and watching a fun movie.
