Hello! My name is Christian, and I’m an Electrical Engineering major at the University of Florida. I’m involved in club baseball, which has helped me develop teamwork, leadership, and time-management skills while also connecting me with the UF community. Being involved on campus has made my experience at UF really meaningful, and I’m excited to share what I love about UF and help others see why it’s such an amazing place to be.

Describe your college experience

At first it was a completely different experience, but now that I met new people and made new friends, I was able to enjoy everything so much more. It truly is an amazing experience and I’m loving everything so far.

Tip for future students

I wish I would’ve gone out to more events to meet new people, like this you can find groups of people you get along with, and like that your experience here at UF will be much more enjoyable.

Favorite class

As of now my favorite class was FYF, First Year Florida, this is a 1 credit class and it talks about the school. All the history, the tradition, and things to do around campus and the city of Gainesville.

Career goals

What I want to be able to do after college, is to find a steady job in a well located area, and get more experience as I go.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Either I go hang out with some friends, or I pass by Southwest to get a workout in or play some basketball, and sometimes just get ahead and do some reviewing on class work.
