Hi! I am a Masters in Journalism student at NYU under the magazine and digital storytelling specialization, and will be graduating in December 2026. I graduated from undergrad at UCLA with a Bachelors in Communication and minors in Disability Studies and Music Industry. I love all things video editing, photography, videography, and writing. Describe your college experience
Coming from growing up in CA and going to school in Los Angeles, I was VERY excited to move to New York. I have absolutely loved my experience at NYU's grad school so far and have found it relatively easy to meet new people. My roommates are both seniors at NYU's undergrad as well in a variety of subjects so I am able to answer a multitude of questions.
Tip for future students
Housing is very different in New York!! Unlike where I'm from, available places only really pop up around a month prior to move-in.

I am currently working as a video editor making commercials for brands as well as run a few social media accounts for a record label. I hope to also continue working in music as well as freelance for a variety of magazines.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Book club bar - my favorite bar in the east village where you can read a book and grab a drink.
