Describe your college experience
My college experience at Florida State University has been full of growth, connection, and opportunity. FSU has a strong sense of community, and I’ve loved being part of a campus that balances academics, tradition, and school spirit. From football games at Doak to studying at Strozier Library, there’s always something happening that brings students together. The supportive professors, diverse student organizations, and welcoming environment have all contributed to my growth both personally and professionally. Being a student here has not only prepared me for my career, but it’s also made me proud to be a part of the FSU family.
Tip for future students
Get involved early, it’s the best way to meet people and feel connected. Don’t be afraid to ask for help; FSU has so many resources if you take the time to look. Also, give yourself plenty of time to find parking; it can be tricky during popular class hours. Most of all, enjoy the journey; college goes by faster than you think!
Favorite class
My favorite class has been Public Speaking. At first, I was nervous, but it ended up being super fun and helped me get more confident talking in front of people. I liked getting to share things I care about and learning how to organize my thoughts better. It’s a class that helps in pretty much everything you do.
Career goals
I plan on continuing my education and getting my Master's degree in Special Education. While I do that, I plan on substitute teaching. Once I earn my Master's, I plan to become a Special Education teacher full time.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is relaxing with friends, maybe grabbing dinner in College Town, then unwinding with a good movie or some music. Simple, chill, and recharging!
