I am a current student at CU Boulder involved in a variety of activities. I am passionate about math, music, and education, and hope to be a teacher in the future. I have loved my time at CU and would love to help others learn more about it.

Describe your college experience

I had came to CU undecided and unsure, but after my first semester I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I felt extremely welcomed by being apart of the GBMB, and through that found joy in music at CU. I have found a great community of passionate peers and supportive teachers.

Tip for future students

Take advantage of school resources, like your major (or intended major) degree page. You can run degree audits and compare them to your degree page to see what you need to take in order to be prepared.

Favorite class

Music theory. It was a small class where we applied our learning and got active feedback from the teacher. I enjoyed the class because I not only learned a lot, but created a good base for future learning. I found a lot of success in that class and always looked forward to the class.

Career goals

I hope to become a music or math teacher.

Ideal way to spend a free night

An ideal night for me would be cleaning and then relaxing. I would clean my space so that I have a clear mind, and as a reward, can rest by playing video games, watching TV, or spending time with friends. I love spending time with my roommates as we share our lives while coming together at the end of a busy day.
