Koto! Sophomore Neurobiology @ UCSD
Hi! I'm Koto, a rising Sophomore Neurobiology Major in Roosevelt College! I come from Northern California, about twenty minutes out from Berkeley. I'm a lover of animals, matcha, music, and eating. If you do decide to come to UCSD, you can usually find me studying at Cafe Ventanas, playing in the Orchestra, or hanging out with friends in Price Center. I can tell you honestly how my experience has been; from the good and the bad. I'd love to answer any questions you might have about UCSD and tell you all about the best cafes I've found so far.

Describe your college experience
My college experience has been great! I've made a lot of new friends and everyone is helpful and great to talk to. The dorms at ERC were not too bad.
Tip for future students
Be yourself, there's so many different people at UCSD that you will find your group eventually. There's no use in pretending to be somebody you're not. Don't be too self conscious!
Favorite class
My favorite class has been MUS 17 ( Hip Hop), it was my diversity credit and was a great experience. It was a very relaxed class and a lot of the homework was listening to music. I really liked the music too, so that was a bonus. I also like MUS 95E (Orchestra) because it gives me the opportunity to play classical music. BILD 4 is also a great class to get an introduction to lab skills.
Career goals
I hope to go to medical school and pursue a doctorate and become a Neurologist.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal night would be to hang out with my friends, cook a meal with everyone, and watch a show or play a game together.

Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is Cafe Ventanas because the interior is beautiful and they have food and drinks. It's usually not too crowded so it lets me focus on work.
