University of Virginia
Knowledgeable, Humorous, Communicative
I am finishing up my college career at UVA after this summer. I've gained a lot of experience and have spent enough time to call this place home. I'd love to pass down my knowledge and give advice to any incoming students interested in becoming part of the UVA family.

Describe your college experience
I was unsure about what to do after high school. My ideal plan was to return to my homeland (Chile), but that didn't work out. I also considered enlisting in the military. While figuring out my plan, I was taking community college classes to 'do something' other than work and wait- and I applied to some schools. UVA seemed a bit intimidating at first. However, once I got involved more in the community I met enough people and did enough things that I felt connected enough to this place that I now call it home.
Tip for future students
Put yourself out there and become a member of as many clubs/groups as you can. Don't miss out on this amazing community.
