OSU has a lot of fun things to do and try around campus. There is always something going on. There are tons of events that are free to take opportunities of.
Tip for future students
Take advantage as as many opportunities as you can, OSU has something for every interest whether it be in classes, clubs, or other extracurriculars.
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been KNSFHP 116105 - Horseback Riding: English Style I. Super fun class that I took for half a semester. I really enjoyed trying something unexpected and new.

We participated in a private, two-hour campus tour of The Ohio State University, and it was an excellent experience. Our tour guide, Emily, was engaging, knowledgeable, and attentive to our family’s interests throughout the visit. Emily guided my daughter, my wife, and me through several key areas of campus, including Thompson Library, the Rec Center, the Ohio Union, and multiple dining halls. She provided helpful insight into daily student life while also highlighting academic, social, and recreational resources available to students. She came prepared with useful handouts, including a campus map and key tour highlights, and shared practical advice on dorm selection, dining plans, and places to eat around campus. Emily also discussed lessons she learned as a freshman, information related to my daughter’s intended major, recommendations on where to live to minimize walking, and tips on working effectively with academic advisors. She also covered sorority life and the wide range of clubs and organizations available at Ohio State. What stood out most was Emily’s energy and flexibility. She asked thoughtful questions to better understand my daughter’s interests and adjusted the tour on the fly to focus on what mattered most to us. At the end of the tour, she allowed time to sit down, recap the visit, and address any remaining questions. Overall, this private tour provided a comprehensive and personalized introduction to Ohio State and left us with a very positive impression of the university.
