University of Oregon
I am very social and personable, almost always smiling!
Hello! My name is Maggie and I am in my second year at UO. I am studying pre law and have loved getting to know Eugene, I’m originally from Bend Oregon. I love animals more than anything and volunteer at the animal shelter here in Eugene. I have 1 sister and 2 brothers, I’m the youngest. My family and friends mean a lot to me, if I’m not spending my time outside then I’m with them or both!

Describe your college experience
My transition to college was smooth! I have a great support network, my parents and friends made it smooth. The university has tons of resources and we are paying for them already! I have loved experiencing everything about college and especially meeting all kinds of new people.
Tip for future students
The change to college and the pace of it once you’re here can be a lot. My advice would be to say yes to things! There’s so many new experiences to have and new people to met, you can always change your mind but this is the time to try! I also advise to stay caught up and the second you need help, ask for it. We are paying for the hundreds of resources offered, use them!!!
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been conflict resolution, professor Fowler is amazing and I’ve learned a lot! This course has given me skills to move through all kinds of conflict, from small day to day annoyances to huge life changing events. Besides this one all of the courses have been great.
Career goals
I want to take a couple months off to travel and have a break, then the hope is law school!
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal night depends on the day, Sundays and Mondays look a little different than Fridays and Saturdays. I love a Sunday reset, clean room and house, face mask and movie. Mondays are homework days, while Fridays and Saturdays are for friends!
High school or secondary school
I went to Summit High School, in Bend Oregon.
