Describe your college experience

My experience as a college freshman has been great! Adjusting to this new environment wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be. So far I’ve met so many people and explored different activities that I otherwise wouldn’t in any other context.

Tip for future students

A tip I have for future students is to really befriend your roommate, I didn’t really know my roommate before moving in that well. Now, we are extremely close and she’s been my ride or die for everything, so if you live on campus make sure you room with someone you really get along with, it makes college a lot less lonely and scary.

Favorite class

Race and Ethnicity in America, it’s very interesting and informative. It analyzes the way in which race and ethnicity has been present all throughout American history and how it still affects society today. It’s an important course that enlightens students of the ways different races were treated in America.

Career goals

My goal is to go to Law school and become a civil rights attorney.

Ideal way to spend a free night

On a free night I might go out with my friends and get some food, sometimes I’ll go on call with my hometown friends and talk about how college is going for all of us.

My favorite spot on campus is definitely the Busch dining hall, not for the food but I like to study and do my class work in there between classes.
