Describe your college experience

My transition to college was so much fun, I feel like I had it easy because BYU had so much to offer me and always wanted to help. Between freshman orientation, starting classes, dating life, being a volunteer for BYUSA and getting involved in clubs night I learned to love being a BYU student. That was just freshman year, since then I have learned a lot from professors, faculty and friends about how great it is to be at BYU, this is where the best education comes from and being close to the spirit always is such a plus!

Tip for future students

College is super exciting for the first little bit and classes are interesting and full of new information, but after the first few semesters it gets hard, so get involved in something you can look forward to and pray a lot, school should be something to enjoy always and you definitely can, but it cannot be everything leave time for yourself to figure out who you are and what place you have by doing fun things, dating and really putting yourself out there. You’re gonna do great just keep your head up and keep going when it gets hard!

Favorite class

My favorite class has been phage hunters because of the lab work that was involved

Career goals

I hope to become a medical doctor

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love to be outside, honestly the ideal night would be going out to eat with my wife then going up the canyon for a walk and eating our dinner, then country dancing in Provo ending with some ice cream at brookers next to BYU campus, just getting out and having fun honestly

High school or secondary school

Real Salk lake academy

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot is the Wilkinson building. I love the noise the students have here, the laughter, random conversations about dating? Piano and student area downstairs, and this is where I usually meet my friends for lunch or studying together. The people are what brings me to the Wilk so often and I love it

Meeting point

Joseph F. Smith Building Courtyard on the Brigham Young University campus
