Hello my name is Adelee and I am a freshman at the University of Tennessee! I am an animal science major and I am considering adding some minors. I love to hike, travel, spend time with friends, and got to different sporting events! I have a therapy dog that I enjoy taking to nursing homes and hospitals when I'm at home to visit residents. I am so excited to show you around campus!!

Describe your college experience

I was very nervous about the transition to college but it wasn't as bad as I initially expected it to be. It was hard to go into a school knowing nobody and not knowing what to expect, but this experience helped shape me and grow me as a person. I have made so many new friends from all around the US and even he world. The campus is so bautiful and easy to navigate.

Tip for future students

1) Go to freshman events and meet people!! 2) Kepp up with due dates! 3) Go to class!!!

Favorite class

Livestock Anatomy and Physiology I love learning about animals and I grew up on a farm. This class was super hands on and I got to experience different dissections in lab and travel to different farms. This class was a great experience and I will be a TA for it in the fall of 2025.

Career goals

After college I hope to have a job in the animal science feild, I'm still unsure of what exactly I want to do but I'm excited for what the future holds.

My ideal way to spend a free night is to got to UT basketball game with friends!
