Describe your college experience
My transition to college has been both exciting and challenging. Moving from high school to a more independent environment required me to adjust to managing my own schedule, balancing academics with extracurricular activities, and taking greater responsibility for my personal growth. So far, my college experience has been rewarding. I have had the opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds, build new friendships, and explore subjects that interest me.
Tip for future students
One tip I would give future students is to stay organized and manage your time well from the beginning. College moves quickly, and keeping track of assignments and deadlines can prevent a lot of stress. I also wish I had known that it's important to get involved early, whether through clubs, sports, or campus events. Also, to fix your sleep schedule before you get to campus because sleep is important.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been my Crime & Violence in LAC course because I gaining more knowledge of different Latin American countries and how they have been dealing with gangs, criminal organizations, and much more.
Career goals
After I graduate from college, I hope to attend law school and continue my education. I am interested in studying law because in the future I hope to become a sports agent.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is hanging out with my friends and staying active. We usually get together to play sports like volleyball or basketball, which is a fun way to relax, compete, and enjoy each other's company. After playing, we might grab something to eat, talk about school and life, or just spend time laughing and making memories.
