Human Biology student who can give tips on studying, locations, and social life
Hi! I'm Jaden, and i'm a pre-heath human biology major. I transferred here last year and I found myself at home quite quickly. I made friends and special memories with specific places on campus. My usual routine entails class, the gym, a quick snack somewhere on campus, studying time, cooking, and chill time with friends and alone. I can show you where the chill spots are when you need to clear your head. I can also give you tips with classes and study methods. I would also be able to tell you about fun food places to try out and other activities to fill your time in San Diego that aren't spent on studying and class! I'd be delighted to show you around and let you know on the secrets of campus and San Diego in general!

Describe your college experience
My transfer experience has been very fulfilling. I have learned a lot about myself, along with education pertaining to my human biology major. It was rocky going from semester to quarter, but with adjustment and adapting to it overtime, it was doable. Creating a community on campus is very important because it helps you stay on track with classes while enjoying your time outside of class.
Tip for future students
I'd say it is important to create a routine for yourself, it keeps you in check. There are going to be days where you feel burnt out, but you have created habits that you naturally find it easy t stick to. That keeps you going when you don't realize it.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been human physiology because I enjoyed learning about the human body and its functions. It helped me understand more of my body and what I can do to live a healthier lifestyle.
Career goals
I want to get my medical assistant certification. I then want to work as a medical assistant for one or two years while traveling and then apply to physician associate school.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I would spend a free night indoors with my close friends. I would like to cook a meal and watch a movie or have dinner with a conversation. I would like to go on a walk after dinner for digestion with my friends and talk to them about whatever is on our minds. I would then end the night with a little entertainment, whether a show or book.
