Describe your college experience
My transition to college was both exciting and challenging. Moving from high school to a university setting pushed me to become more independent, manage my own schedule, and balance academics with work and extracurriculars. I’ve enjoyed meeting new people, joining student organizations, and learning in an environment that encourages growth.
Tip for future students
Get organized early and don’t be afraid to ask for help—from professors, advisors, or classmates. Also, explore campus resources; there’s often more support available than you realize.
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been Introduction to Biomedical Engineering. It gave me a hands-on understanding of how engineering principles can be applied to solve medical problems, which directly connects to my career goal of creating accessible healthcare solutions.
Career goals
After earning my degree in biomedical engineering, I hope to develop affordable medical devices and open a free clinic to provide accessible healthcare for vulnerable communities in the U.S. My goal is to combine engineering innovation with compassion to make a real difference in people’s lives.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal free night would be spent enjoying good food with friends, exploring new places in town, or relaxing with a cozy blanket, tea, and a good book or movie.
