Describe your college experience
Going to college far from home was scary for me at first, but I have learned to be so independent and self sufficient because of that decision and it has done nothing but help me in both my education and my social life. I came to Ole Miss with a couple people from my hometown. I gradually got to know a lot of people at the university both in class, in the gym, out on the square, etc. I eventually decided to rush a fraternity, and that was really what kickstarted my college experience. I have been able to get very involved through my time in a fraternity and there are things that will help me tremendously in the years to come after graduation.
Tip for future students
Do not be afraid to put yourself out there. Everybody is in your shoes: first time being away from home, don’t know many people, scared to embarrass themselves, not used to their new environment. All freshman/transfers feel this way, and the sooner you realize that everyone is just like you, the easier it will be to overcome those obstacles.
Favorite class
MKTG 381: Sales Technologies and CRM strategies. I am currently in this class and it has been by far the most beneficial I have taken. We made sure our resumes and LinkedIn profiles were good and have been learning the sales strategies and technologies that are used across all major sales companies.
Career goals
Go into the sales industry. Preferably medical sales.

Lay in my bed, order a pizza, and throw on a good movie.
