Describe your college experience
Coming from southern California, moving to the north east was a bit of an adjustment during my freshman year. But luckily I got to experience being part of an inviting community full of people with diverse backgrounds and interests! I've felt very supported by my advisor and professors throughout my time here, including professors who taught classes outside of my major. I've grown a lot as a person, student, and artist during my time here and feel that I've gained a lot from my experience at BU.
Tip for future students
Some tips I have for future students is to get to know your professors! It may seem daunting at first, but they really do want to help you and see you succeed. I'd also recommend forming a study group , even if its not with people who have the same classes as you. It can really help with focusing and feeling less alone during midterms and finals.
Favorite class
My favorite class (outside of my major) was my Anthropology of Food class! It was a bit more work because it was a graduate class but it was so worth it. The course material was so interesting and presented in a fun and engaging way! The professor was also very kind and would allow us a 15 minute break during the 3 hour class to mingle and share foods from our different cultures.
Career goals
I hope to work as an actor and voice over artist for film, television, and video games.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is having some friends over and enjoying a glass of wine and a movie together!
