Describe your college experience
My college transition was easy because I did the UW College Edge program which focuses on easing freshman into college and it gave me a support network within the first weeks of college. I somewhat struggled with adjusting to a large city, however with the support of my friends, I ultimately adjusted well.
Tip for future students
Say yes to everything and try to go to as many events. During the first weeks of college, there will be plenty of events to attend, each event is an opportunity to learn and make friends. Socializing is one of the ways to make the college transition easier and more enjoyable.
Favorite class
My favorite class is Math 125 Calculus II because I connected with the content. Calculus II is the first math class where math was applied to the real world. The class hooked me and encouraged me to pursue engineering.
Career goals
After my bachelors degree, I will pursue my masters in robotics and autonomous systems. I hope to be working in the aeronautics field designing robots and machines for space.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is to go try a new restaurant for dinner and attend a Symphony.
