My name is Ciara. I am a junior studying zoology and I am on the pre vet track. I transferred here in 2025 as a sophomore have never regretted it since. I am involved in three clubs here, and have leadership positions In two of them. One has even gave me chance to travel to Peru!

Describe your college experience

I am a transfer student and I was first moved in with three freshmen. I got along well with them and even still talk to them now. Them before my second semester my old dorm flooded and then I got to move into a new dorm with one my best friends. Besides my living situations I’m always looking for new places to study eat or hang out with friends! I’ve made many friends through my dorm, classes and clubs. I love to go out with my friends on game days but also have chill nights in!

Tip for future students

Join clubs and go to class. Joking clubs is the number one way to make friends that you will have the most in common with! And go to class! Just because they aren’t always mandatory doesn’t mean you need to skip!

Favorite class

My favorite class has been evolution. My professor really cared about the class and it made learning so much more interesting because he gave his all into that class!

Career goals

I want to go two vet school and then become an exotic vet.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love to relax with a book and hang out with my animals, but I also love to hang out with my friends and go out and catch a bite to eat!
