Describe your college experience
College has definitely been a ride! I was like others, originally nervous finding my circle, not fully sure of my academic focus and questioning if DC was the right place for me. However I was able to meet my friends in the most unexpected of ways and am truly grateful to call them friends for life. Academically, I came in as a different intended major but was able to find my true calling through a major that i didnt even know exsisted and have been able to do multiple interdisciplinary research opportunities through it.
Tip for future students
Dont be afraid to put yourself out there
Favorite class
My favorite class was probably psychopharmacology as it was a perfect bridge between the biology and psychology courses I take and learning how drugs of all sorts create chemical changes that manifest into certain behavior and cognition.
Career goals
I hope to pursue a PhD focusing on either forensic psychology or neuropsychology.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My friends and I love to go to our favorite resturant, Bartaco on the Wharf.
High school or secondary school
The William Penn Charter School
Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is probably the library at the vern as it has such a homey environment and they have the most confortable couches were I often go to study with friends and able to lock in there for hours whenever I have a deadline. I will also say the Thurston Penthouse and the many rooftops on campus are also go-to places.
Meeting point
Kogan Plaza Fountain on the George Washington University campus
