Auburn University
Graduating Senior in August
Hi I’m a graduating senior in August, originally from the Mobile area. I have spent the last seven years here in Auburn and during that time, I got to welcome four different football coaches, watch Auburn basketball make two different final four runs and so much more. I spent my early years on campus joining a fraternity and Emerge, to familiarize myself with campus and meet some friends. Throughout the COVID years, I enrolled in online classes to keep up while I simultaneously worked with moving companies throughout the campus which granted me access to more university and athletic buildings. During this time, I was really able to familiarize myself with this Campus and man do I love it! Not to mention, I ended up changing my major twice so I also have quite a bit of knowledge surrounding the academic opportunities. I’m very familiar with the campus layout and excited to show you around!

Describe your college experience
My college experience is definitely not a copy and paste for everyone. I grew up a lifelong Alabama fan, decided last minute I wanted to check out Auburn. Fast forward 7 years and I am dreading the thought of leaving here. I joined a fraternity, groups on campus, engaged with the sports scene and had the best time of my life. I failed and tried again in so many academic fields that I finally found myself working towards something I’m passionate for. This university has helped me in ways I could not have ever foreseen.
Tip for future students
Get to know your advisor and do not be afraid to ask questions!! I spent a whole extra two years here trying to figure out what major I wanted to pursue because I just wasn’t sure! Get involved on campus! Grab a classmates phone number, and meet them outside of class, you will be amazed by all the connections that can sprout from one act of confidence! Do not get overwhelmed and doubt yourself, this school provides access to all the help you could ever desire. Finally, be a friend to all.
