Garrett B. Transfer sophomore in the 2025-2026 school year.
My name is Garrett. I enjoy lifting, sports, music, reading, and much more. I love walking, but I understand how difficult it can be at the beginning when you don't know where to go. It becomes especially difficult with adding and dropping classes early on.

Describe your college experience
It was very difficult at the beginning, trying to find the best routes and the best routine. Especially because there were things I wanted to be able to do outside of my classes, but it was difficult until I figured out how to balance homework, but once you get your rhythm things start to move very smoothly.
Tip for future students
Don't schedule a lot of 8ams if you aren't a morning person. Find a job as soon as you can if you plan to work during the school year. Try and really figure out what major you want asap so you can have a school-specific advisor. They really help when it comes to scheduling.
Favorite class
Elementary Japanese. I really want to learn Japanese so I can travel there someday. It is by far the most difficult class but it's the one class that benefits my personal life and it just so happens to count as history credits towards my major.
Career goals
I hope to work for a professional or collegiate sports team. Hopefully in a managerial position.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Free night means you have homework done too. Pushing off homework till the weekend doesn't count, it'll get annoying doing everything on one day. The best way to spend a genuinely free night in my opinion is to play games with friends and get Jimmy Johns or just take that time to relax and go to bed early. Trust me the late nights add up.
