Future Psychology Student Excited to Welcome New Blue Hens!
Hi! I’m an incoming psychology student at the University of Delaware. I recently went through the college application process myself, so I understand how exciting and overwhelming it can feel. I’m friendly, easy to talk to, and happy to answer questions or help students feel more confident about starting their college journey. Describe your college experience
I’m an incoming freshman at the University of Delaware, so I’m currently preparing for my first semester. While I haven’t started classes yet, I’ve completed orientation, connected with other students, and have been learning about campus life. I’m excited to begin this next chapter and share the perspective of someone who recently went through the college application and decision process.
Tip for future students
Don’t be Afraid to ask questions! Reach out to current students, attend orientation, apply for scholarships early, and stay organized with important deadlines. Don’t be scared of asking for help.
Favorite class
I’m excited to take psychology courses because I’ve always been fascinated by how people think, behave, and grow. I’m especially looking forward to learning more about the difference of counseling and clinical.
Career goals
After college, I hope to pursue a career in mental health, whether that’s as a counselor, clinical psychologist, or neuropsychologist. As I continue through college, I want to explore different areas of psychology through my classes, research, and hands on experiences to discover which path is the best fit for me. I’m especially interested in studying the brain and understanding how it influences behavior, emotions, and mental health so I can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal free night is relaxing with friends or family, listening to music, watching a good movie or TV show, spending more time with my studies. I also enjoy a really good conversation after a busy day
High school or secondary school

Favorite spot on campus
As an incoming student, I’m still exploring campus and haven’t found my favorite spot yet. I’m excited to discover the places that make the University of Delaware feel like home.
