Describe your college experience
Transferring to Virginia Tech has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. It was intimidating at first, but the welcoming environment, strong community, and exciting academic opportunities helped me find my place. Joining student orgs and being part of a faith-based community really helped me connect.
Tip for future students
Get involved early, even just one club can make a huge difference. And don’t be afraid to ask for help or guidance. VT has so many resources, but you have to seek them out!
Favorite class
My favorite class so far has been Economics. It helped me understand how decisions are made on both a personal and global level, and I enjoyed learning how economic thinking applies to everyday life.
Career goals
I plan to work as analyst thats related to Cybersecurity after graduation and eventually start my own company and a local coffee shop that builds community.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Some nights, I’m all about hanging out with friends, going downtown, and having a blast when I’m feeling energetic. Other times, I just want to kick back at home, watch something fun, and chill without any plans.
