Finance and CS student that loves traveling, food, startups, and investing
Hi! I'm Kunal, a senior studying finance and computer science. I split my time between spreadsheets and code, which sounds like a strange combination until you meet the startup people I spend the rest of my time around. Outside of class, I'm usually planning the next trip, tracking down a restaurant somebody swore by, or falling down a rabbit hole on some company I've never heard of. I've spent time on the investing side of things, so I have opinions about early-stage companies that I'm happy to share. I'm also a lifelong Bengals fan (this year is our year)! Ask me where to eat, where to study, which classes are worth the hype, and what campus actually feels like day to day. Describe your college experience
Pretty smooth transition, formed a great friend group during NSO and been close with them since. Love the campus, my classes, and exploring the city too with my friends.
Tip for future students
I came in thinking I wanted to be a tech PM and completely 180ed into becoming a tech investor - college will completely change the way you think and its always for the better. Be open to it!
Favorite class
OIDD 3140 - new course every semester taught by an industry expert - ours focused on AI infra from a prof that use to work for google's patent law team. Easily the best class i've had at penn and very discussion based and project based.
