Hi! I'm a freshman double majoring in Finance and Business Analytics & Information Technology. Even though I commute, I am practically always on campus. Whether I'm running between rush events for business fraternities, studying at the Livingston Student Center, or grabbing boba and riding scooters around The Yard at College Ave, I've completely immersed myself in Rutgers life. I've spent my first month exploring every campus to map out all the best spots, and I'm excited to show you everything this university has to offer!

Describe your college experience

My transition to Rutgers has been nothing short of amazing. Even though I commute, I dove straight into campus life before college even started. I live only 5-10 minutes from campus, so I already would explore the campus, dining, activities for years. I spent the first month attending Welcome Week events like the RBS Fall Kickoff, going to business and social fraternity rush events, and checking out a massive variety of clubs in every field. The energy at the football games has been absolutely peak. Between classes, my friends and I have been exploring the different buildings across every campus—from Busch to Livingston to College Ave—and we've practically mapped the whole university out together. It’s only been a month, but I’ve met so many new people and settled in so well that it feels like I’ve been here for years.

Tip for future students

Download the RU BUS app immediately—it is an absolute lifesaver for navigating campuses and busses. Always check Rate My Professors before building your schedule, and do yourself a huge favor by avoiding 8:30 AM classes! When it comes to food, my top three spots are the Atrium on College Ave, the Livi dining hall, and Henry's Diner. Try to spend most of your free nights hanging out on College Ave, but also know that the Cook/Douglass campus is seriously underrated and overhated—it's definitely worth checking out.

Favorite class

Intro to Marketing with professor Patterson is amazing, super fun, and interactive

Career goals

After finishing my degrees in Finance and Business Analytics and Information Technology, I plan to break into investment banking or corporate finance. I am really passionate about the intersection of business strategy, tech, and the stock market, so my ultimate goal is to leverage data analytics and AI in the financial sector.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal free night is heading over to The Yard on College Ave, grabbing some boba, and watching whatever game is playing on the jumbotron. Afterward, I love renting scooters with my friends and just exploring the rest of the College Ave campus.

Edison High School

Favorite spot on campus

The Rutgers Business School building and the Livingston Student Center. Since I'm studying Finance and BAIT, I spend a lot of time around the Business School. The Livingston Student Center is the perfect central hub to study, grab food, and hang out with friends in between my classes and evening club meetings.
