Hi! My name is Troy and I’m currently in my third year at The University of Alabama. After spending the last three years exploring every corner of this incredible campus, I can confidently say that there’s no better place to experience college life. From the stunning architecture to the welcoming community and the vibrant downtown area just steps away, I’ve fallen in love with everything UA has to offer. I’m passionate about helping future students see why the Capstone stands out—not just as a university, but as a home. I’d be honored to share my experience and help others feel the same excitement I felt when I first toured the campus.

Describe your college experience

I’ve learned that if you allocate your time and know when it’s time to study versus when you can socialize, you’ll ultimately thrive. Spending time here is more than just college to me, it has become a home with family, friends, and so much more.

Tip for future students

Don’t be afraid to try out anything! Whether that’s Greek life, clubs, student government, whatever it may be you’ll have a blast and gain valuable experiences.

Favorite class

I love my Criminal Justice 300 level courses because it’s material that I’ll hopefully be applying to real world positions. They have some really interesting classes to attend.
