Describe your college experience

My college experience has been fantastic. Transferring to the University of Washington has been an adjustment but I really enjoy being able to delve into the subjects that I am studying. I really am enjoying the 300/400 level biology courses and the gen Chem series. I am greatly looking forward to limnology and organic chemistry this fall.

Tip for future students

Find people to study with! It allows you to learn and absorb the material much faster and hearing all different points of view and understanding gives a more holistic understanding of the material being taught.

Favorite class

Hard to pick just one but I think that I would say Evolution and Systematic's. I enjoyed this class because we really got to explore evolution and its mechanisms and how the mechanisms influence evolution and the path that it takes.

Career goals

I hope to be in the field of ecology or animal biology, either aquatic ecology, forest ecology, or aquatic biology.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Camping in the mountains and along the rivers.

Eastlake High School, Sammamish, Washington, United States

Previous college

I transferred from Bellevue College. Transferring to the University of Washington was pretty seamless.
