Eva Ciccarelli - NYU Class of 2029

Hi! I'm so excited to meet you and tell you why I love NYU! I like to spend time with my friends and (when I'm home) play with my puppy, read, play guitar (badly), go on runs, and do my nails! My favorite spot on campus is Bobst (the library) and my favorite dining hall is Palladium.

Describe your college experience

At first it was a big change, coming from a rural college-town in Western Massachusetts to a huge city like NYC. I immediately enjoyed the new experiences, diversity, and convenience the city brought, and slowly got used to (and began to enjoy!) the hustle and bustle that had originally stressed me out.

Tip for future students

Always take notes, don't skip classes if you can help it, plan out your schedule to keep track (it gets busy), and make sure to prioritize friendships as well as homework, in other words don't shut yourself out studying all the time.

Favorite class

Writing as Inquiry, because my teacher was so kind and very interested in the topic. He lead discussions that felt personal that I was able to make active contributions too, plus the readings for homework made me understand the world in a broader context through different perspectives and world views.

Career goals

I want to be an writer and actor on Saturday Night Live.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Going out an exploring different parts of the city and trying new food and activities.
